Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Direct Support Professional IV – Campus/Shift Coordinator in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on organizing, coordinating, and overseeing residential services across the State Supported Living Center campus, ensuring staff coverage and high-quality care.

The position requires a driver’s license, supervisory experience, and the ability to manage emergencies with initiative.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ experience in the field related to this position.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Valid Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate, and oversee activities and staff coverage across the facility.
• Coordinate shift activities within residential services and monitor homes and grounds.
• Provide coaching and on‑the‑job training to staff as needed.
• Ensure care, treatment, and support activities are ongoing and compliant.
• Document incidents and issues, and communicate with administration.
• Serve as contact for abuse/neglect and respond to critical incidents.
