Job summary

Alls Well Healthcare, in partnership with California's DDS, offers a paid 3‑month shadow training program for Direct Service Professional interns. You will shadow a seasoned DSP mentor for up to 30 hours per week and gain hands‑on experience supporting adults with developmental or intellectual needs in increasing independence.

Weekly pay of $16.90–$18.50 per hour is offered, with shifts across mornings and weekends. This internship may lead to permanent employment if there is a mutual fit.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent completed.
• Valid ID or Driver’s License and pass background checks.
• Able to pass health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Shadow an experienced DSP mentor.
• Support individuals with daily living skills.
• Promote communication and social interaction.
• Document services and progress.
• Assist with community activities and health/wellness.
• Support education, job readiness and career goals.
• Ensure the person remains at the center of all decision making.
