Job summary

A local community support organization is looking for a Direct Support Professional to provide part-time care and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and essential physical skills, including the ability to lift significantly and perform CPR. A valid driver’s license is required to transport clients. This role offers $13 - $16 per hour, with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to transport individuals.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to the required schedule for the job.
• Physical examination/TB test required by ODP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and care to individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities.
• Assist in safely loading and unloading vehicle passengers.
• Implement non-physical and physical interventions and CPR.
