Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on assistance to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in their homes and community settings. • High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass required background screening.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and document services provided.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and provide companionship.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and personal hygiene.
• Support meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
• Help individuals participate in community activities, social events, and recreational outings.
• Assist with transportation to appointments, programs, and community events as needed.
• Encourage independence, choice, and self-advocacy.
• Document services provided and communicate important updates to the care team.
• Promote a safe, healthy, and supportive environment.

Hourly Pay: $15 - $18 / hour | Weekly Pay

Additional pay opportunities may be available based on client needs, level of care, required skills, location, and commute distance.
