Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Royal Pines, NC. The role focuses on implementing person-centered plans and empowering consumers to live as independently as possible.

The position offers hourly pay of $18-$22, with flexible full-time or part-time options. Candidates should be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license if transportation is involved, and possess strong communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Strong communication skills and dependable transportation may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work one-on-one with individuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing written goals from the treatment plan.
• Document consumer responses and results for staff.
• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Maintain professional conduct and assist in treatment planning as needed.

Maxims DSP Responsibilities & Requirements

• Assists in the implementation of written goals from the treatment plan
• Instructs and reinforces target goal outcomes according to consumer
• Accurately document consumer responses and results to staff
• Maintains appropriate professional conduct
• Assists in the development of consumer treatment plan and goals
• Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Active driver’s license in the event transportation is taking place (as applicable)
• Strong communication skills
• Computer proficiency required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
