Devereux is hosting a Direct Support Professional (DSP) job fair at the Viera, FL campus. The event highlights starting pay of $17.00–$20.25 per hour, with 2nd and 3rd shifts available (2:30pm–11:00pm; 10:45pm–7:15am).

Attendees will learn about Devereux benefits, comprehensive orientation, and career pathways in human services, psychology, and caregiving. Join us to explore opportunities and apply in person.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• We offer a comprehensive two-week orientation to set you up for success, followed by continuous on‑the‑job training throughout your career at Devereux.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• For full‑time, you will be required to work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sundays).
• For part‑time, you will be required to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
• Must be able to complete a two‑week (Monday - Friday) new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientation is held in Titusville.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals)
• Help implement behavior support plans
• Teach life, social, and communication skills
• Respond to and de‑escalate crisis situations
• Maintain daily documentation
• Transport to school, appointments, and community outings
• Work closely with clinical treatment team
