Devereux is hosting a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job Fair at the Viera Campus, FL. Attendees are encouraged to apply online before the event and bring resumes for on-site interviews. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $20.25 per hour, with additional shift differentials based on experience and education.

Available shifts include 2:30pm–11:00pm and 10:45pm–7:15am. The role involves daily living assistance, behavior support, teaching life and communication skills, and transportation to

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• No experience? No problem! We invest in people with a comprehensive two-week orientation and ongoing on-the-job training.
• Schedule: 2nd and 3rd shift availability as listed.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays; full-time may require every other weekend, part-time at least one weekend day.
• Orientation: new-hire orientation held in Titusville (two-week).

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals).
• Help implement behavior support plans.
• Teach life, social, and communication skills.
• Respond to and de-escalate crisis situations.
• Maintain daily documentation.
• Transport to school, appointments, and community outings.
• Work closely with clinical treatment team.
