Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Hampstead, NC. The DSP helps with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to enable clients to live independently.

Pay starts at $16.00–$17.00 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments after meeting weekly hour targets.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence.
• Assist with daily living activities (meals, hygiene, household tasks).
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Monitor health and safety in a supportive environment.
