Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Hampstead, NC. The role involves assisting with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus. Flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for advancement are offered, along with benefits based on hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities (meal prep, hygiene, household tasks).
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and development of new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
