Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Hampstead, NC. You’ll assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. Paid training, flexible schedules, and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with disabilities not required; paid training provided.
• Must be able to pass background, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Commitment to helping clients with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and external parties
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Offer flexible schedules (full-time and part-time)
