Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities across New Jersey. The DSP role focuses on one-on-one support following each client's ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

The position offers flexible hours, in-home and community-based settings, and a path within a DDD-focused agency with supportive management and onboarding. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
