Job summary

ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. This role involves one-on-one support in home and community settings, following each person's ISP, and promoting independence and daily living skills.

We offer flexible hours, local cases across New Jersey, and a supportive team. The DSP role often features in-home or community-based settings with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

18 years or older
High school diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference

Responsibilities

Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support

Education
