Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across the state. We offer flexible hours, local cases, and a supportive team that sets Direct Support Professionals up for success.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one-on-one with individuals, support daily living activities, and follow each person's ISP to promote independence and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
