Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in New Jersey to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will work one-on-one, following each person's ISP, to promote independence and daily living success.

We offer flexible hours, local cases across New Jersey, and a supportive team that helps DSPs grow within a DDD-focused agency. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour based on experience and case assignment.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
