Job summary

Venture Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support daily living activities, promote independence, and help participants engage in their communities.

The role is full-time (40 hours) in Dudley, MA with paid training and a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time staff, along with benefits and schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them be active in daily life.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, and personal care to promote independence.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments, banking, and community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and medication guidelines as required.
