Job summary

DABS, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support adults with developmental disabilities in both home and community settings. Roles are available as Personal Attendant (PA) or Skills Instructor (SI), with final assignment based on program needs and experience.

Emphasis on independence, dignity, and individualized care. Pay range is $17.00–$25.00 per hour, with full-time and part-time options. Includes healthcare benefits, paid sick leave, mileage and cell phone reimbursement, and

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Good communication and empathy with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support in home and community settings.
• Supervise ADLs and assist with meals, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Assist with scheduling, routines, and community activities.
• Complete daily logs and progress notes as required by DDS/Regional Center.
• Promote safety, well-being and respectful interaction with clients.
