Job summary

DABS, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide individualized support to adults with developmental disabilities in Supported Living Services. The role emphasizes safety, health monitoring, and hands-on assistance with daily living activities in home and community settings.

You will document observations, follow care plans, and report changes to supervisors. The position offers full-time and part-time hours, weekly pay, and benefits including health coverage and mileage

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and implement care plans.
• Capacity to maintain professional relationships with families and stakeholders.
• Ability to document observations accurately and communicate clearly.
• Ability to perform essential duties with empathy and respect for personal values.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered supervision in home and community settings.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, meals, and hygiene.
• Supervise medication administration when needed and transport to appointments as required.
• Complete daily logs and progress notes per agency and regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and care planning as needed.
