Job summary

DABS, Inc. provides comprehensive skills training and supported living services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We offer Personal Attendant and Skills Instructor tracks, with opportunities to work in both home and community settings while delivering person-centered support.

Employment is contingent upon background checks and mandatory trainings, with pay ranging from $17 to $25 per hour and benefits including healthcare, sick leave, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal care plans.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with families and stakeholders.
• Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and respect for personal values.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, person-centered supervision in home and community settings.
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, toileting, dressing, and hygiene.
• Monitor and assist with medication administration when needed.
• Escort and transport individuals to medical and personal appointments.
• Complete daily logs and progress notes per DDS, Regional Center, and agency standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
