Job summary

Venture Community Services in Webster, MA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to advocate for and assist adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help with daily living activities, medication reminders, transportation to appointments, and community participation.

This full-time role offers Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am, a $17.50-$19.00 hourly pay, paid training, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for residential direct care staff, plus benefits such as health, dental,

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community.
• Able to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated team member.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
• Support with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal care.
• Assist in attending medical appointments, banking, and community activities; accompany on outings.
• Administer medications per plans; follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
