Job summary

Venture Community Services in Dudley, MA is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a full-time, 40-hour schedule (Sun-Thurs 3p-11p). The DSP will advocate for adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping with daily living tasks and community participation, with paid training and benefits.

The role requires a compassionate, reliable team player who can work a flexible schedule and support individuals to live independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with disabilities with daily living activities (household tasks, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.).
• Support attendance at medical appointments and banking activities; encourage community involvement and outings.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and medical guidelines; administer medications as required.
