United Cerebral Palsy of San Joaquin, Calaveras & Amador Counties seeks a compassionate caregiver to provide functional skills training and personal care to clients with disabilities in day or residential settings.
Under program management, duties include group and one-to-one instruction, assisting with daily living activities, and data recording toward ISP objectives. Must have a HS diploma or GED, read/write English, and hold CPR/First Aid certification.
Works under direct supervision of program management to provide functional skills training and personal care to disabled customers.
High school diploma or GED with a preference give to persons who have experience working in day or residential programs serving persons with disabilities.
Must possess ability to read, write and understand English. Strong oral and written communication skills are a must. Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisor.
Knowledge and ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
Must have working knowledge of personal computers. ("Highly desirable")
Must possess a valid CDL and have clean driving record.
