Monday-Friday 1st Shift

Summary

Provides overall support to persons served by teaching skills that foster independence and community integration as directed and guided by the person’s Individual Service Plan (ISP). Also ensures the highest quality of standards in a supportive, clean and safe environment.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend documents. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, clients, and employees.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Reasoning Ability

Ability to problem solve with a variety of variables in standardized situations. Ability to interpret and follow through on instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Computer Skills

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets the standards set forth by the organization and valid vehicle insurance. Ability to complete and maintain all required training in accordance with organizational, County, State, and Federal regulations.

Driving Requirements

This position requires that an employee is able to drive for work purposes and must maintain a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets the standards set forth by the organization. This position may also require the use of the employee’s personal vehicle.
