Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities and community participation. The role emphasizes compassionate care, reliability, and helping clients attain independence.

Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with shifts including days and weekends at one location in New Jersey. A valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience with individuals with developmental delays.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Valid driver’s license and a vehicle.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, meals).
• Facilitate community involvement and outings.
• Promote independence and daily living skills.

Kindly Direct Care is seeking MALE and FEMALE DSPs who are reliable, caring and motivated to aide individuals with developmental disabilities attain independence and build better lives for themselves, their families and their community.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) must be able to provide compassion, understanding, and realization of the individual's dreams.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with individual's day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals, etc.)
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community
• Help Individuals integrate into the community through various activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.)
• Provide encouragement and coaching to individuals who are working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits
• Document the supports given and activities completed throughout the day

Job Requirements Include:

• One (1) year working with individuals with developmental delays
• G.E.D /High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
