Job summary

Kindly Direct Care in New Jersey is seeking male and female Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help individuals with developmental disabilities gain independence and better lives. The part-time position runs Mondays and Thursdays from 2 pm to 5 pm, with pay of $18.00–$24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily needs, encouraging development of living skills and healthy habits, and documenting supports and activities.

Qualifications

• One year working with individuals with developmental delays.
• Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle.
• Caregiving experience preferred.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) must be able to provide compassion, understanding, and realization of the individual's dreams.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with individual's day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals, etc.)

• Provide encouragement and coaching to individuals who are working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits

• Document the supports given and activities completed throughout the day

Job Requirements Include:

• One (1) year working with individuals with developmental delays

• Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle

Job Type: Part-time - Monday and Thursday - 2 pm - 5 pm

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
