Job summary

Kindly Direct Care seeks Direct Support Professionals to help individuals with developmental disabilities gain independence and improve their lives and communities. You will assist with daily needs, transportation, bathing, meals, and support community involvement through outings and activities such as shopping and Special Olympics.

A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required; we value reliability, compassion, and motivation to support individuals daily. Clark, NJ area positions available.

Qualifications

• One year working with individuals with developmental delays.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with individual's day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals).
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings.
• Help individuals integrate into the community through activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies).
• Provide encouragement and coaching to develop daily living skills & healthy habits.
• Document supports provided and activities completed throughout the day.

Kindly Direct Care is seeking DSPs who are reliable, caring and motivated to aide individuals with developmental disabilities attain independence and build better lives for themselves, their families and their community.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) must be able to provide compassion, understanding, and realization of the individual's dreams.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with individual's day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals, etc.)
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community
• Help Individuals integrate into the community through various activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.)
• Provide encouragement and coaching to individuals who are working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits
• Document the supports given and activities completed throughout the day

Job Requirements Include:

• One (1) year working with individuals with developmental delays
• Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
