Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in Manalapan, New Jersey. MDCPs provide compassionate support to help clients gain independence and enhance daily living skills through community activities.

We value reliability, caring attitudes, and motivation. Eligible applicants should have at least 1 year of experience, a valid driver’s license and a vehicle for community outings.

Qualifications

• One (1) year working with individuals with developmental delays
• Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle

Responsibilities

• Assist with individual's day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals, etc.)
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community
• Help Individuals integrate into the community through various activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.)
• Provide encouragement and coaching to individuals who are working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits
• Document the supports given and activities completed throughout the day

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) must be able to provide compassion, understanding, and realization of the individual's dreams.
