Job summary

Kindly Direct Care in Mansfield Township, NJ is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence. The role offers flexible full-time and part-time schedules with pay ranging from $16.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include helping with daily living tasks, transportation, meals, and documenting supports. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and a GED or high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• One year of caregiving with individuals who have developmental delays.
• G.E.D or High School Diploma required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Kindly Direct Care is seeking MALE and FEMALE DSPs who are reliable, caring and motivated to aide individuals with developmental disabilities attain independence and build better lives for themselves, their families and their community.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) must be able to provide compassion, understanding, and realization of the individual's dreams.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with individual's day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals, etc.)
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community
• Help Individuals integrate into the community through various activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.)
• Provide encouragement and coaching to individuals who are working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits
• Document the supports given and activities completed throughout the day

Job Requirements Include:

• One (1) year working with individuals with developmental delays
• G.E.D /High School Diploma
• Valid Driver's License and Vehicle
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
