AHRC New York City seeks Full and Part-Time Day Program Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for multiple Bronx Day Programs. AHRC NYC is hosting a hiring event with on-the-spot offers for qualified candidates. Date & Time: Friday August 28th from 10AM-1PM.

Location: Recruiter will provide specific address for qualified candidates. Pay rate: $18-$20.20 per hour depending on driving status and AMAP certification; comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Driver's license for >1 year preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of Home and Community Based Waiver (HCBS) and current guidelines.
• Understanding of Person-Centered Planning.
• Ability to build relations with participants, families, staff and agencies.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Work with participants by assisting them to learn and develop social skills, daily living skills and habits.
• Accompany participants to appointments, community outings, and other activities.
• Complete progress notes and entries into the daily log book.

DATE & TIME: FRIDAY AUGUST 28th from 10AM-1PM

Schedule- Monday - Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm (35hours per week).

PER-DIEM POSITIONS:

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-2:30pm(30hours per week).
