• Knowledge of DSCA regulations, DoD Directive 3025.18, and CARRLL criteria.
• Knowledge of the Stafford Act and NIMS.
• Proficiency with ETMS2 and MS Office.
• Completion of DSCA Phase I and Phase II training.

This position is a DSCA Duty Desk Officer. This position is in Arlington, VA.

What will you be doing?

Duties include:

• A DSCA Duty Desk Officer is responsible for monitoring operations, identifying discrepancies in mission areas, and providing decision-making support to leadership during domestic incident responses.

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

• U.S. citizenship.
• Active (or the ability to obtain and maintain a) Top Secret security clearance.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience: Approximately 10 years of experience in a relevant field, such as cyber program analysis, operations, or emergency management; Experience working in a joint, interagency, or rapid-response environment (e.g., National Guard J3/J-I, Joint Field Offices).
• Technical Skills & Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of DSCA regulations, including DoD Directive 3025.18, and the six validation criteria (CARRLL). Knowledge of the Stafford Act and National Incident Management System (NIMS). Proficiency with ETMS2 and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certifications & Training: Completion of DSCA Phase I (online) and Phase II.
