Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support a complex information system at DEVCOM Armaments Center, Picatinny Arsenal.

You will join an Information Security team and help enforce security policies, manage SSP/ATO processes, and perform continuous monitoring. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in IT and cybersecurity, RMF expertise, IAT II, and an active security clearance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years IT and cybersecurity experience.
• Firm understanding of RMF processes.
• IAT II certification and DoD CE training.
• Experience with eMASS and ATOs.
• Experience with ACAS, Nessus, ePO, Tycon, STIGs and SCAP.
• US Citizenship and active security clearance.
• Verifiable Information Technology training.

Responsabilidades

• Support implementation and enforcement of information security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Assist with configuration management of security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Maintain the operational security posture for an information system or program.
• Support ISSM in maintaining the appropriate operational security posture for a system, program, or enclave.
• Develop and maintain system security plans and other IA documentation for A&A per DoD policies.
• Document compliance actions within the approved automated tracking system or POA&M.
• Auditing and Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) of the IS.
• Perform STIGs checks/validation.
• Maintain stakeholder communications regarding security incidents, tasks, and accomplishments.
• Other security-related duties as assigned dictated by mission requirements.

In this position, you will act as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for a complex information system supporting research and development activities at the DEVCOM Armaments Center, Picatinny Arsenal.

What will you be doing?

This position will be a key member of the Information Security team. Duties include:

• Provide support for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Assist with the configuration management of information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Maintain the operational security posture for an information system or program.
• Provide support to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for maintaining the appropriate operational security posture for a system, program, or enclave.
• Develop and maintain system security plans and other IA documentation for Assessment & Authorization (A&A) in accordance with DOD policies.
• Document compliance actions within the approved automated compliance tracking system or develop a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M).
• Auditing and Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) of the IS.
• Perform Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) checks/validation.
• Maintain effective stakeholder communications regarding all relevant information security incidents, tasks, and accomplishments.
• Other information security related duties as assigned dictated by mission requirements.

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

• 10 plus years of IT and Cyber Security experience
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 4 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
• A firm understanding of the Risk Management Framework processes.
• IAT II certification and relevant Computing Environment (CE) training as defined in DoDM 8140.03
• Experience with eMASS including obtaining/maintaining system ATOs.
• Experience with the following tools: ACAS, Nessus, ePO, Tycon, Evaluate STIG, SCAP Scan, etc.
• Experience completing security evaluations of software systems and architectures to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.
• Experience preparing and maintaining SSP or security related documentation.
• Experience proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience performing day-today security operations of complicated information and information processing systems.
• Security + CE or other applicable cyber security certification.
• Verifiable Information Technology training.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Active security clearance
