Job summary

Dakota Sioux Casino is seeking a vigilant Surveillance Officer to protect and serve casino departments with the highest level of skill. You will enforce rules, investigate misconduct, and maintain in-depth knowledge of gaming products and dealing procedures on Dakota Sioux Casino property.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be able to obtain a Key Gaming License upon hire, and be willing to work all shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Protect and serve the departments under Surveillance department vigilance with utmost ability and skill.
• Maintain integrity of gaming by enforcing rules, policies and procedures by all Dakota Sioux Casino employees.
• Investigate reports of cheating, theft, or revenue loss and provide a conclusive report.
• Possess and maintain knowledge of gaming products for customer play on Dakota Sioux Casino property.
• Understand dealing procedures and possess knowledge of gaming operations.

• To consistently protect and serve the departments under Surveillance department vigilance with the utmost ability and skill.
• To maintain games integrity by strictly enforcing adherence to rules, policies and procedures by all Dakota Sioux Casino employees.
• To unconditionally investigate any and all reports or indications of cheating, theft, or loss of revenue and to provide a complete conclusive report of that investigation.
• To posses and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all gaming products presented for customer play on Dakota Sioux Casino property.
• Thorough knowledge includes the ability to play the game and knowledge of dealing procedures.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must obtain a Key Gaming License upon hire. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Available to work all shifts and weekends. (Day, Swing, Graveyard)

OTHER:

Ability to handle diverse situations/or people; effective communication skills; must demonstrate excellent attendance practices; and must be able to work 8+ hours if necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, and reach; Sitting (must be able to sit for long periods of time in a cool environment), standing or walking for extended periods of time.
