Job summary

Pillar Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead all facets of production on assigned construction projects, coordinating labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure successful outcomes.

You will communicate with clients, vendors, and the Pillar team and manage submittals, changes, and schedules. The role requires strong contract understanding, the ability to read plans and specs, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• 5 years of drywall project management experience.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting plans, specs and contract documents.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with construction estimating software is a plus.
• Ability to travel to project sites with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage contract terms and requirements for each project.
• Serve as primary contact between Pillar and clients, subs, vendors and internal team.
• Ensure procurement of labor, materials and equipment in a timely manner.
• Review submittals, shop drawings and samples within contract timeframes.
• Maintain project budgets and prepare monthly forecasts and cost-to-complete reports.
• Lead project meetings and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Ensure timely notices, change orders and payment applications.
• Promote Pillar’s safety culture and quality control program.
• Mentor direct reports and develop team members.
