The ideal candidate has a decade of experience in the construction industry, managing projects of $10M+, with strong communication, leadership, and client-management skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the construction industry with $10M+ project size.
• Proficiency with email, Office, document, project management, and scheduling software used in the construction industry.
• 4-year college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction project from start to finish; review bid proposals, budgets, submittals, RFIs, contracts, change orders, closeouts.
• Plan, budget, and identify resources needed for the project.
• Manage the budget and minimize exposure and risk in the project.
• Guide the efforts of architects, consultants, sub-contractors, and laborers working on the project.
• Serve as the primary link with the client and review all deliverables before presenting them to the client.
• Create and update the construction schedule with the project superintendent.
• Maintain adherence to budget, quality, and safety standards.
• Provide training and mentorship to other team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Oversee the construction project from start to finish; review bid proposals, budgets, submittals, RFIs, contracts, change orders, closeouts
• Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed
• Manage the budget and minimize exposure and risk in the project
• Guide the efforts of all parties involved in the project, including architects, consultants, sub-contractors, and laborers
• Serve as the primary link with the client and review all deliverables prepared by the team before presenting them to the client
• Create and update the construction schedule with the project superintendent
• Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards
• Provide training and mentorship to other team members
