Job summary

BL Harbert International is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Huntsville, AL to lead self-perform drywall, metal framing, and ACT scopes. You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontracts while coordinating with field and office teams to ensure cost control, quality, and safety on large-scale projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of PM experience in commercial/industrial construction, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of drawings and contract documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent construction experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience in commercial, industrial, or federal construction.
• Experience managing self-perform drywall, metal framing, and/or acoustical ceiling scopes.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and administrative responsibilities for self-perform drywall, metal framing, and ACT scopes.
• Budget, cost tracking, labor projections, and production tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multi-million-dollar self-perform subcontracts and scopes of work.
• Coordinate labor requirements, crew sizes, production goals, tools, and equipment needs.
• Support procurement, orders, and deliveries to maintain project schedules and production.
• Assist with Schedule of Values (SOV) development and project budget creation.
• Prepare estimates for drywall, metal framing, and acoustical ceiling scopes of work.
• Review project changes and change orders; incorporate approved changes into budgets.
• Attend project meetings and maintain communication with project management and field teams.
