Job summary

AlphaHire is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial drywall and metal framing projects from award to closeout, coordinating schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractors while keeping safety and client satisfaction at the forefront.

You will work with general contractors, owners, architects, and field teams on interior construction trades, ensure quality, manage RFIs and change orders, and lead project meetings to report progress.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, or related interior construction trades.
• Commercial drywall and metal framing project management experience is required.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, procurement, and cost control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and interior finish projects from contract award through final completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to verify scope and identify potential issues.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project budgets, labor productivity, material procurement, subcontractor performance, and overall financial performance.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, productivity, and schedule performance.
• Identify project risks and implement solutions to minimize impacts on cost, quality, and schedule.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and company leadership.
• Coordinate punch-list completion, warranties, final documentation, project turnover, and closeout activities.
