Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line in South Florida is seeking a Project Manager to co‑lead the dry dock and vessel maintenance programs. You will oversee master schedules, budgets, logistics, and contractor performance to deliver ships on time and within constraints.

The role requires coordinating cross‑functional teams, vendors, and shipyards, conducting planning meetings, and producing progress reports. A bachelor’s degree in Marine/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Naval Architecture and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marine/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent degree/experience.
• Fully conversant in usual IT software (office, project, AutoCAD, dry dock specific software).
• Able to coordinate a complex dry dock/repair process with vessel superintendents, shipyard, subcontractors, crew and company.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages dry-dock master schedule (3-5 dry docks per year) and monitors budget and milestones.
• Resolve complex scheduling and execution challenges, elevating issues when needed.
• Conducts dry‑dock planning meetings and liaises between stakeholders and contractors.
• Produce progress reports, presentations and reviews for management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with shipyards, vendors and stakeholders on logistics, specs and work packages.
