Job summary

Dry Goods USA in New Jersey is seeking a Store Manager who can drive retail growth by motivating associates to help customers express their personal style and by directing store activities to meet goals.

You will lead staffing, training, payroll, merchandising, and customer service while maintaining an inspiring store environment. The base wage ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 per year, with pay determined by qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Motivate store employees to deliver outstanding customer service
• Execute all duties of a sales associate and keyholder
• Coordinate the interview process: screenings, interviews, and references
• Maintain appropriate staffing - forecast future staffing needs
• Assess associate performance to improve the quality of service and increase sales – provide feedback and performance evaluations
• Develop associate’s skills to meet store goals - conduct ongoing training for new and existing employees
• Complete payroll and time clock maintenance
• Administer employee benefit enrollment and usage
• Implement merchandising plans and monitor store's visual appearance and cleanliness
• Develop and implement solutions to solve customer problems and business needs
• Be available to work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts

The expected base wage for this New Jersey based position is $50,000 - $55,000/annually. Successful candidates’ wages will be determined based on their individual qualifications for the position.
