Job summary

MACOM seeks a Dry Etch Process Engineer to lead development and sustainment of Dry Etch processes for GaN, GaAs, Si, and InP technologies. You will partner with Device and Integration Engineering and BU design teams to drive improvements and reliable results.

The role requires a strong background in semiconductor processing, data mining, DOE, and Lean/Six Sigma, with excellent communication and ownership of projects from concept to implementation.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering or Physics with at least 5 years fab experience.
• Knowledge of Dry Plasma Etch and Descum processes.
• Familiar with Si and/or compound semiconductor materials.
• Strong device physics, SPC, DOE, and data-driven problem solving.
• Demonstrated ownership and ability to deliver on aggressive goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and sustain Dry Etch processes in MACOM fab.
• Collaborate with Device and Integration Engineering and BU teams.
• Drive optimization and documentation for process improvements.
