Job summary

Headway Technologies in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Dry Etch Process Technician to support the engineering team in the dry etch area. You will assist with process development, prepare and maintain recipes, and help analyze data to drive improvements.

The role requires an associate degree (or equivalent) and at least two years in semiconductors, with knowledge of dry etch/IBE/RIE and strong MS Office skills. You will work on the D shift in a cleanroom environment with safety-focused procedures.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in electronics/industrial tech.
• Two years of semiconductor experience.
• Knowledge of dry etch, IBE, or RIE.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist dry etch process development and experiments.
• Prepare, maintain, and set up process recipes.
• Review and document processes; implement changes with engineering.
• Expedite and disposition prototype wafers in dry etch area.
• Collect and analyze data; recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain SPC-based controls and generate charts/graphs.
• Support safety policies and routine troubleshooting.
• Collaborate to qualify new processes or procedures.
• Prepare daily reports for engineers and other technicians.
