Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a major plus

• Run plant operations across dry cleaning, wet cleaning, laundry, spotting, finishing, assembly, and quality inspection

• Plan schedules and staffing to meet daily volume, participate in hiring and performance reviews

Job description

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Dry Cleaning and Laundry Production Manager to oversee day to day operations. *Bilingual in Spanish/English is a major PLUS!*This role will be a member of our management team and must be able to confidently lead a dedicated crew of production employees (many of which are Spanish speaking or English as a second language). He or she will be responsible for all production related activities for wet cleaning, dry cleaning and laundry operations. We will provide you Tide Cleaners specific training with the newest cleaning technology and production equipment in the industry.As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for: daily lot management, production flow, scheduling, productivity, inventory, quality control, output management and regular scheduled maintenance. This is a full time position and requires availability Monday - Friday (5a-1p).*Ideal candidate must have 5+ years of dry cleaning and laundry operations experience with proven track record of leadership, coaching and managing dry cleaning pressers, cleaners, laundry attendants and production drivers. Tide Cleaners uses Green Earth dry cleaning methodology as well as state of the art Wet Cleaning capabilities that are proprietary to Tide Cleaners franchise stores.

What You’ll Do:Run plant operations. Lead daily plant operations across dry cleaning, wet cleaning, laundry, spotting, finishing, assembly, and quality inspection.Train and develop the team. Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training in both English and Spanish, covering equipment operation, garment care, safety, and quality standards. Use demonstrations, visual guides, and side-by-side coaching so every team member learns the job correctly.Build bilingual training resources. Create and maintain bilingual training materials, standard operating procedures, safety signage, and checklists. Track each employee’s progress and certify skills before they work independently.Manage state-of-the‑art equipment. Oversee our automated equipment and systems, including automated assembly & garment conveyors, heat seal tracking and production management software.Drive performance. Set and monitor production targets, including pieces per operator hour, turnaround time and labor cost. Use data to find improvements and report results to leadership.Protect quality. Enforce quality control procedures so garments are cleaned, finished, and assembled to our standards.Keep people safe. Maintain a safe workplace and ensure compliance with chemical handling, environmental, and OSHA requirements. Lead safety training and hold the team accountable.Lead the team. Plan schedules and staffing to meet daily volume, and take part in hiring, performance reviews, and retention efforts.Manage resources. Manage labor, supplies, and utilities against budget, oversee inventory and vendor relationships, and find opportunities to reduce cost and waste.Collaborate. Partner with store and operations leaders to meet service commitments and resolve production issues quickly.
