Job summary

Tide Cleaners is seeking an Evening Production team member to handle garments—from start to finish—cleaning, washing, pressing, folding, and assembly. No dry cleaning experience? We’ll train you. You care about quality, show up ready to work, and take pride in your output.

You’ll join a collaborative production team with a mid-day to evening shift, learn dry cleaning skills on the job, and contribute to customer satisfaction while growing responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities

• Dry clean and wash garments according to standards and fabrics.
• Press and finish garments, shaping, steaming, and ironing as needed.
• Fold and package garments for delivery or pickup.
• Maintain equipment and clean work area, report issues promptly.
• Inspect garments for cleanliness, finishing quality and damage.
• Track production activity and materials used as requested.
• Follow all safety procedures and use equipment correctly.
• Support teammates and communicate issues to the Production Manager.

Evening Production

$11–$14/hour based on experience | Mid-day to Evening Shift

The Role

You'll be part of the production team that makes Tide Cleaners work. You'll handle garments from start to finish—cleaning, washing, pressing, folding, and assembly. Your attention to detail and work ethic directly impact our customers' experience and our business. No dry cleaning experience? No problem. We'll train you. What matters is that you care about quality, show up ready to work, and take pride in your output.

If you're someone who notices when something isn't right, takes initiative, and works well alongside a team, this is a good fit.

What You'll Do

• Dry clean and wash garments according to Company standards—select the right cleaning method based on fabric type and care tag, load and monitor equipment, and follow procedures
• Press and finish garments—shape, steam, and press each piece to standard; iron when needed; spot-check for cleanliness and damage
• Fold and package garments for delivery—neatly fold and arrange orders; prepare for pickup or delivery
• Maintain equipment and work area—follow preventive maintenance schedules, keep production area clean and organized, report equipment issues immediately
• Inspect for quality—check each garment for proper cleaning, correct finishing, and freedom from damage before it leaves the plant
• Track and log production activity—record load poundage, chemicals used, and other operational data as requested
• Work safely—follow all safety procedures, use equipment correctly, and report hazards or unsafe conditions
• Support your teammates—help keep the operation moving smoothly, step in where needed, and communicate with Production Manager and peers about issues

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required if you have relevant work experience
• Dry cleaning experience is a plus, but we'll train you if you have the right attitude and work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods (3–4 hours per shift)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift
• Ability to work in warm conditions (production floor can be warm, especially near pressing and cleaning equipment)
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision (pressing, folding, button replacement)
• Manual dexterity and fine motor control for detailed finishing work

Schedule

Mid-day to evening shift. Specific hours will be communicated at time of hire and may vary based on business needs.
