Job summary

Lapels Cleaners is seeking a Dry Cleaner / Production Lead to oversee production quality and profitability of our environmentally friendly plant in Omaha. The role requires a few years of industry experience and familiarity with running a dry cleaning operation.

The candidate will be responsible for spot cleaning, running loads, finishing garments, and supervising finishers to ensure high-quality output while maintaining efficient production levels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience required.
• Experience running a dry cleaning plant preferred.
• Open to lapels program and systems of production.

Responsibilities

• Spotting and pre-/post-spotting with garment front counter help.
• Run dry cleaning and wet cleaning loads.
• Finish garments and oversee finishers/pressers for quality and productivity.
• Assist customers with cleaning, stains and finishing questions.
• Sort and inspect articles; assign to proper stations throughout the plant.
• Maintain general housekeeping for a bench-mark store appearance.

We are looking for a Dry Cleaner / Production Lead for our Environmentally Friendly Lapels Cleaners Plant who is responsible for ensuring the overall production quality and profitability of garment cleaning.We typically look for a Dry Cleaner / Production lead with three (3) years of industry experience, who not only has prior knowledge of running a Dry Cleaning Plant but is also open-minded to seeing the benefits of using the Lapels program and systems of production.

Responsibilities of the Dry Cleaner / Production Lead:

• Professional Spotting – including recognizing the type of stain and either pre-spotting or post spotting that garment front counter help with customer drop-off and pick-up of orders
• Running dry cleaning & wet cleaning loads
• Finishing of garments
• Overseeing finishers & pressers to ensure quality work at profitable production levels including tracking overall plant labor pieces per operator hour
• Assist customers with cleaning, stain, and finishing needs, and/or questions
• Sort and examine articles of clothing to ensure proper cleaning process
• Sorting of garments to proper stations throughout Plant
• General housekeeping to support a benchmark store appearance
• Other duties as assigned
