Job summary

Lapels Cleaners in Augusta, GA is seeking a Dry Cleaner / Production Lead to ensure production quality and profitability of garment cleaning. The role requires three years of industry experience in running a dry cleaning plant and openness to adopting the Lapels systems.

Qualifications

• Three years of industry experience in dry cleaning.
• Experience running a Dry Cleaning Plant with understanding of production flow.

Responsibilities

• Professional Spotting – including recognizing stain type and pre-spotting or post-spotting for customer orders.
• Running dry cleaning & wet cleaning loads.
• Finishing of garments.
• Overseeing finishers & pressers to ensure quality work at profitable production levels including tracking labor pieces per operator hour.
• Assist customers with cleaning, stain, finishing needs, and/or questions.
• Sort and examine articles of clothing to ensure proper cleaning process.
• Sorting of garments to proper stations throughout Plant.
• General housekeeping to support a benchmark store appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a Dry Cleaner / Production Lead for our Environmentally Friendly Lapels Cleaners Plant who is responsible for ensuring the overall production quality and profitability of garment cleaning.We typically look for a Dry Cleaner / Production lead with three (3) years of industry experience, who not only has prior knowledge of running a Dry Cleaning Plant but is also open-minded to seeing the benefits of using the Lapels program and systems of production.

Responsibilities of the Dry Cleaner / Production Lead:

• Running dry cleaning & wet cleaning loads
• Finishing of garments
• Overseeing finishers & pressers to ensure quality work at profitable production levels including tracking overall plant labor pieces per operator hour
• Assist customers with cleaning, stain, and finishing needs, and/or questions
• Sort and examine articles of clothing to ensure proper cleaning process
