Job summary

Lapel Cleaners in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Dry Cleaner / Production Lead to oversee garment cleaning operations, ensure production quality and profitability, and support the production team with Lapels’ systems.

The role requires three years of industry experience and hands-on knowledge of running a dry cleaning plant. You will supervise finishers and pressers, manage loads, assist customers, and maintain a clean, efficient production floor.

Qualifications

• Three years of industry experience in dry cleaning/production leadership.
• Experience running a dry cleaning plant.
• Openness to Lapels programs and production systems.

Responsibilities

• Professional Spotting – including recognizing stain types and pre- or post-spotting with customer drop-off/pick-up.
• Running dry cleaning and wet cleaning loads.
• Finishing of garments.
• Overseeing finishers and pressers to ensure quality at profitable production levels.
• Assist customers with cleaning, stain, and finishing needs, and/or questions.
• Sort and examine articles to ensure proper cleaning processes; sort garments to proper stations throughout the plant.
• General housekeeping to support a benchmark store appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a Dry Cleaner / Production Lead for our Environmentally Friendly Lapels Cleaners Plant who is responsible for ensuring the overall production quality and profitability of garment cleaning.We typically look for a Dry Cleaner / Production lead with three (3) years of industry experience, who not only has prior knowledge of running a Dry Cleaning Plant but is also open-minded to seeing the benefits of using the Lapels program and systems of production.

Responsibilities of the Dry Cleaner / Production Lead:

• Professional Spotting – including recognizing the type of stain and either pre-spotting or post spotting that garment front counter help with customer drop-off and pick-up of orders
• Running dry cleaning & wet cleaning loads
• Finishing of garments
• Overseeing finishers & pressers to ensure quality work at profitable production levels including tracking overall plant labor pieces per operator hour
• Assist customers with cleaning, stain, and finishing needs, and/or questions
• Sort and examine articles of clothing to ensure proper cleaning process
• Sorting of garments to proper stations throughout Plant
• General housekeeping to support a benchmark store appearance
• Other duties as assigned
