SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Florida invites auditions for drummers and pianists. You must attend an in-person audition on Tuesday, November 17 at 3:30pm and complete the online application beforehand. Check-in is at Human Resources, 3605 East Bougainvillea Ave, with no late entries after 4pm.

Performers will join a fast-paced show schedule, with live mic singing when required, instrument upkeep, and duties across the venue, indoors and outdoors, through varying Florida conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to sight read music.
• Outgoing and friendly personality; able to improvise.
• Excellent showmanship and voice projection when singing on mic if required.
• Flexible with work hours and locations depending on business needs.
• Willingness to maintain instrument in good condition.

Responsabilités

• Perform 4-6 theater shows per daily schedule including special functions.
• Piano players must be comfortable singing on live microphone when approved.
• Maintain cleanliness standards of the venue.
• Provide and maintain your instrument in working condition and appearance.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Please prepare 16 measures of a pop selection and 16 measures of a jazz selection

What You Get To Do

• Perform 4-6 theater shows per daily schedule to include special functions, rehearsals, and recordings
• Piano players must be comfortable singing on live mic if approved for role
• Participate in maintaining Busch Gardens cleanliness standards
• Provide and maintain specific instrument including working condition and appearance
• Perform all other duties as assigned

What It Takes To Succeed

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to sight read music
• Outgoing and friendly personality- versatile and ability to improvise
• Outstanding performance and showmanship while performing set musical selections
• Flexible with work hours and working conditions
• Willingness to own and keep instrument in working condition
• High School graduate (preferred)
• Communicate professionally and effectively with ambassadors and guests
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 30 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights (if needed/required)
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying Florida weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes and theatrical elements
• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks(use of tools/keyboard/writing)
• Perform all cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals
• Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities
