Guitar Center seeks a District Manager to lead retail operations across a designated territory, driving EBITDA, revenue, and customer experience. You will hire and mentor store managers, oversee labor within budget, and ensure merchandising programs are correctly implemented to deliver top results.

You will collaborate with Services teams, manage P&L for the district, and uphold Guitar Center’s Employer of Choice initiatives while maintaining strong team performance and store standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
• Valid state driver's license and automotive insurance.
• 6 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• 5 years of experience leading teams in a retail store.
• Intermediate knowledge of retail/music instrument operations.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Advanced understanding of Guitar Center retail systems and processes.

Responsabilités

• Achieve district EBITDA and revenue targets across merchandise, lessons, repairs, and rental.
• Manage and optimize labor within budget.
• Ensure merchandising programs (GOLD Standard, GOLD Card, EHOTH, Planograms) are followed.
• Track OSAT scores and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with national Services teams to meet goals.
• Hire, develop, and train store managers and provide guidance for staff.
• P&L management and district accountability.
• Resolve conflicts within the district.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
