Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. is seeking a Music Teacher to deliver lessons using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum and help grow the student base in-store. You will foster a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect while guiding students to enjoy playing music.

You will collaborate with the store Lessons Lead, schedule lessons, and provide excellent customer service to retain students. Previous teaching or education experience is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
• Demonstrated competency and proficiency in their teaching area.

Responsibilities

• Teach students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Partner with Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount.
• Assist with Customer service to build long-term students and great experiences.
• Communicate with students and/or parents on progress and goals.
