Job summary

Fort Bend County is seeking a Drug Testing Technician to manage and execute the department's drug testing program across multiple locations. You will schedule random tests, collect specimens, log results, and prepare reports for staff and offenders.

You will calibrate breathalyzer units and ensure supplies are stocked and lab results are communicated accurately. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (associates preferred), 2 years related experience with 4 preferred, and strong

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• 2 years related experience; 4 years preferred.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with CSS software and documentation protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Schedules random drug testing across multiple locations.
• Collects and prepares specimens for labs and logs them.
• Documents results in offender case files and prepares reports.
