Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• 2 years of related experience; 4 years preferred.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; ability to type.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Male applicants only.

Responsibilities

• Conducts drug testing program and schedules random tests across locations.
• Observes, collects and prepares specimens for labs and logs in database.
• Documents results in offender files and prepares reports.
• Calibrates breathalyzer units.
• Orders testing supplies and maintains inventory.
• Coordinates with financial analyst to stay within budget.
• Assists in collecting evidence of tampering with urine specimens.
• Trains officers on drugs and testing methods.
• Conducts civil drug testing and ensures court orders are followed.
• Participates in emergency management during disasters.
