Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associates degree preferred.
• Two years job related experience.
• Strong computer and typing skills (Minimum 40 wpm)
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with defendants in the office, outside of the office for vehicle inspections, alcohol/drug testing, and the inspectional of satellite monitoring/SCRAM anklets.
• Accompanies defendants to the drug testing lab to observe urine specimens and conduct on-site drug/alcohol testing, hair specimen collection, breath testing with portable breathalyzer, and preparation of samples for lab testing; ensure change of custody is preserved.
• Refers clients to outside vendors for installation of monitor devices (satellite/SCRAM anklets, ignition interlock devices, computer monitoring software); verifies installations and reviews data to determine if violations occurred.
• Document in the case management system all relevant events related to supervision of each defendant; track compliance with bond conditions.
• Conduct investigations into alleged violations of bond conditions, including contacting victims and collecting sworn statements and supporting information.
